View Full Version : dumb basic question from a newbie

I sell various items on ebay and am trying to figure out the quickest way to: get the photo from camera to the computer with as few steps as possible.

My photos do not have to be the best. I am fairly good (good enough) with lighting techniques that I know when I aim the camera at an item, when I take the photo, the picture will come out pretty good. I also do not have any need to currently do any cropping or resizing or turning the photo 90 or 180 degrees.

With that in mind, I am simply looking for a way, that, when I snap 4 or 5 shots, ideally, the photo is (on, in) the computer. When I feel I have enough shots, I can simply go to the computer, and type in a brief description of the item, hit a button or two and the photos are all neat and organized in a file that's set aside for that particular item when I begin the process of listing the item on ebay.

I know I have spoken in very basic terms but there has to be an easier way than my current method.

Any help suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Bob

In the Post Processing forum there's a list of Tutorials. Inside the list is a tutorial called "From Camera to JPG, Quickly."

Bob,

you might look at power-selling software that might support that feature.

I don't know any at the moment, but google is your friend
I also think that there are eBay endorsed products (check their website as well).
There are also image hosting sites that allow you to host images for eBay.

Don't know how much you sell, but if you have good photos attached to your auctions, you might command higher prices. So some work might pay for you here.

Best regards,
Andy
