I was doing the sensor cleaning and turned off the camera like normal but now the mirror won't come down. wtfff help =\

try turning it on, and see if the shutter button responds

hmmm........go to menu and disable sensor cleaning.

Remove the battery. Without power it can't stay up there.

Tried all that, it still stayed up.. I think it was just stuck, the little foam stick that was up there is missing o.o It came back down and takes pics find under f22 thanks to my dirty sensor =\
Big problem now.. focus screen is farked up BIG TIMe needs replacement.. anyone know how much canon charges to sell that part?

which camera is this? If it's a 1-Series it's $30-40 for a new screen. If it's anything else...you'll have to send it in.

It's the Digital Rebel, the screen is easy to replace. It's not scratched the screen thats hard...
Anyways my mom was nice and ordered me a new focus screen. =)
$17 after shipping from Canon Parts she said. Should be here by the end of the week.. Now only if I could clean my sensor =\
