forum option idea

Is there a way that we could have an option when posting a new topic in any forum that would delete itself after 10 days??
this way an answer to a question about what flash is better would not be answered in links to 30 other threads .

this new posting option would then allow people to point the person who asked to proper threads and then not create a new one at the same time.

I try to search but with so many simular posts it is hard to find what I am looking for somtimes.

Not a bad idea at all - this will get more responses if moved to the "forum talk (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=8)" section, which perhaps a mod can do.
