This is my first post.....but I have been reading a lot of stuff from this forum the last few days.

As a result of what I have read, here's what I ordered from B&H an hour ago.

20D body
Tamron 28-75 f2.8 (I have to believe this is a great piece of glass)
Sigma 70-200 f2.8 (another great piece of glass)
Sigma 1.4X APO TC
Sandisk 1GB Ultra II CF and card reader
Hoya Super-HMC UV Filters to protect the lens
Spare Canon battery

I have to thank lots of you for all the great input. I think I made the right choices AND I believe I purchased this stuff at the right place AND I am very satified with the pricing (I reasearched all this stuff for the last week and spent a total of 15-20 hrs. of looking at everthing I could find)

I would appreciate some comments about my choices.
