Sorry no bikini models in here  Just trying out some light painting techniques on a 58 vette replica model. First time at light painting so all comments welcome :) http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/1802/lightpaint10296068lj0.jpg http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/8892/lightpaint20281853ot1.jpg

Are you copying me? LOL Yours came out much better than mine. Might I suggest lighting the top of the car too, as you can see its in the shadow. Make a few passes with the light if necessary.

Wow, didn't even see the first picture the first time. I like that one. It looks like you made a few passes with the light. What kind of light did you use?

Except for the wheel covers, #1 looks pretty good. If you had a white card near the camera & below it, you could put some fill light on it to reflect in the wheel covers.

Streamline, no I wasn't trying to copy you  actually, i didnt even notice your thread until I looked over your recent posts... I wasnt on the boards the last day or so so it must've got burried. I used a LED flash light
Frank, I didnt even notice the wheels until you mentioned it. Oh well, I kinda like the effect if gives atm :D
Radal, not too sure... all I know is it's a 58 vette model I had in my house.. I think its a 1:6.. maybe a 1:10 scale version.. it's pretty big.

. . . nice photo's Sypher - looks almost real. Caught your o'head shot on OMC too !
If that scale vette is over 28" long, it's 1/6 scale, and 1 of 500 pieces (Premier Limited Edition by Highway 61 Collectibles) at $999 Cndn. a pop, but I noticed in the second photo that the label on the base states '58 vette, which makes it the smaller 1/12 scale version by Solido, about 14 1/2" long. ;)

Is it light painted? Great results. Looks like a Kyosho model, that interior is awesome.

Nice light! Looks like it is being lit through blinds on a summer afternoon.
