filter? photoshop?

does anyone know how this image was achieved?

someone told me a chocolate brown filter may have been used on the camera

i'm thinking a color was taken out using photoshop selective color option

what do you pros say?

It's possibly genuinely cross processed, but I've seen instructions to get a similar look in photoshop. I tried it but didn't like what I managed.

Do u know if it´s digital or not?... I remember when I was in college, we forced the film (it was a special film, I cannot remember which one) in a photo studio session and the results were similar as the pic you are showing us...

Looks kinda like a medium format picture.

oh, there are a couple of ways to imulate that photo in photoshop. i'm guessing it was a regular color picture first the manipulated.
