I am probably gonna try and go out either tonight or tomorrow after work and get some nightscapes along the Thames.

I was wondering what settings I should use? When ever I have tried in the past I dont seem to be able to get them sharp and I am using a tripod. Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Manual @ f/8.0
ISO 100
Shutter speed as required
If you can, manually focus
Mirror lockup
Remote shutter release or at worst use the self-timer

Definitely use manual, have a low F number, and a tripod is a bonus.

I shot some images at night in London last week and I was able to hand hold at 1/15 second on ISO 200/400, though the best ones were rested. If you need a good spot Westminster is fantastic.
