Oh my gosh I was totally thinking of posting something like this the other day as well!
This forum is THE best forum not only because it's Canon only, but because it's so active (you can post something and 3 minutes later already have 2 replies!) and the members are extremely helpful and nice!

I always feel badly when I post a new question and am scared someone might get mad, but they never do and I owe everyone here a HUGE thank you as well. Many important decisions were made because of this forum!

This truly is an amazing forum. It's the largest I've seen, too!! I mean 26,136 members!!

I would like to congratulate belmondo, CyberDyneSystems, IanD, Pekka, RFMSports, scottbergerphoto, and "admin" on maintaining such a high standard. It's impressive that 7 individuals can do such a good job.

I can't go without saying thank you to all the members, aswell. Thank you for sharing your experience, photos, and thoughts.

This is my first post, but certainly not my last. It took me a while, because I was so overwhelmed by the enormity of this forum.

Okay... I have to put my two cents in here. I lurked around here for a couple of months before joining...now you can't shut me up:lol: I have also bought two 20D's (one for me and one for jealous hubby), a snootful of lenses and other gear due to all the valuable information I got from this forum. So glad to be a part of it with the rest of you!!!

Some of the threads are truly hilarious :lol: , but I won't mention any names just to protect the innocent from the guilty. Oh yes, I now have my sights on some new equipment although my wallet is not quite there yet.

Hehehe, as the saying goes "You can't take it with you" when you are dead and gone. Could be a good selling point for the significant other in presenting your case for yet another expenditure :shock:. And, just think of all the good photos you can leave behind ;) .

I'll echo alot of the senitments already made here. Not only is this a great place to find answers and have some fun but I have made some personal friendships directly through here that I am most grateful for.

I've spent a little time over on some of those "other" boards and they don't compare in the slightest to here.
