Hey all,
Im looking for a better bag to fit my equipment, take with me boarding, and day to day use and one that doesnt look ugly (not bulky, big and black like most camera bags). So I ended up setting my mind on the Dakine Mission (Burton and Sequence packs being to big and full of flaps and strings and all).

So I checked around online and found out its a lot more expensive than the normal Mission bp. Evenso, if you buy a normal Mission pack and a Camera Block seperately its cheaper. Does anyone know if this works, if theres any difference between the normal Mission and the Mission photo? Cause it saves a lot of money and I can pick between more designs ;)

Also has someone tried fitting the camera block in a different bag than the Mission/Sequence. Like the Heli Pro or Channel or something?

I have the sequence and I do agree with what you say about the straps. I have got used to them now and they do give a lot of flexibility but there are quite a few. They do come off though.

I see what you mean about the pricing structure, just checked out S2as wher I got my sequence and it is cheaper buying the block and mission bag separately - seams very strange.

I do not know what the mission is like, but when you remove the block from the sequence the pack is very flimsy. This is my only criticism of the sequence which otherwise is a great bag.

I got the Mission for the same reason but I have not gone boarding yet because this is my first season going up. Hopefully by mid to the end of the season I will get good enough to bring this bag up the slopes. For regular use it is a bit big but it's a backpack and as for the straps, they don't get in the way, you can leave on the rubber bands that come with it to keep them in place. Threw in a laptop and it was heavy but the padding made it much more comfortable and less strenuous on the back. If you want it for a good price, use cashback and shop at altrec when they have high % coupons. I got mine for a really good price, lower than I expected.
