For the Coopermine image gallery, you need a server with php and a mySQL database. It's easy to use and install. If you run a Windows computer you can test the gallery by installing a "server" from here: http://bandit.myftp.org/gts/fireserv.htm , this is Apache with phpMyAdmin and MySQL. The Apache server is free to use and werry nice for testing webpages on the local drive before uploding to an external webserver. You just hit " http://localhost " after install and startup. Then go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin and create a new database named "pictures" or something. Then you're done! :-)
