Big brown eyes....which version?

Which one do you all think is better? I'm going to have this printed & framed for my mantle, but I can't decide which version looks better.

I prefer #2. The softness in #1 bothers me, whereas it's a plus in #2.

Thanks for the input! I ended up printing the b&w. The color version was distracting me from what I wanted the focus to be....his eyes. :)

I like #2 also, but it's a bit blown out on her cheek so it may not print how you want it. She has GORGEOUS eyes! :)
