Nice dog....looks awesome.

I notice you have the 17-85mm...how do you like that? What are your main uses for it?

Thanks.......So far I like it..but my experience is limited. ....I needed a general purpose wide lens as I had only my rebel (film) stock lens 26mm-75 (?) so I went for the 17mm. It was pretty damb expensive, and in hindsight I probably would have got a better one with a better f range. This one can only be used on digital cameras so there goes my back up! Its "IS" "image stabilizer" what ever that really does. My other 75-300 has no IS and is not problem with stabilization so who knows if I was scammed.

too much to know with this hobby!

Thanks! Looking back, would you have rather saved up and picked up a faster lens? I want to buy a lens in a few weeks, either the 17-85 or the 70-200 2.8...the 2.8 is much more money...but I really want a faster lens...

Just in case any of you wanted to know how I got that shot (not like its rocket science) but the best way I found was to focus on a tree 8 feet or so infont of me....then keeping the trigger held half way to hold focus lock, I moved sideways to a spot that I was going to be calling Tanner to run through when he hit the tree..BANG I got him. He runs way to fast I find to follow and shoot him.

Anyway thought some of you might enjoy that!

Cheers:lol:
