Here's a picture I did. It was taken in a short room with a 30D with a 50mm f/1.8 with internal flash. Shutter speed 1/60th at f/3.2 and ISO 1600. Did minor color editing and red eye removal.
I was backed as far away as I could be and, of course, only had my fifty on me.
(Is it just me, or do the faces look reddish? They don't in photoshop. I'm gonna recheck my ps settings and reupload it)
(Edit 2: I know what I did. PS is showing it as having a sRGB color profile, but I swear I'm shooting in Adobe RGB. Adobe RGB is also PS's default working space... I just put on CS4.. something changed in my color managment... I just wish I knew what)

I think you might have framed it better if you included more of the child on the right and less of the dog. Such a patient dog too!

A little reddish yes, probably reflected off the shirts and lights. Too bad you had to cut off his left arm, I guess you couldn't get it all in with the fifty.
I made a curves adjustment to pick up the contrast a little and took some of the red out of the skin color.

I adjusted the curves a little bit on the second one, but for some reason they still look red on here, but not on my computer lol.
Yeah, the framing should be more to the right, but I was taking a quick picture of the boy in the red, but my brother saw the camera and jumped in at the last minute! He's got the whole jump in front of the camera and strike a quick pose thing down. I can only blame myself. He's usually my test subject lol.
For some reason, pictures in lightroom and PS seem more... neutral. oh well. Thanks for all the comments!

The photographers curse! No time to think of everything. Perhaps switch to "full automatic" and all you have to worry about is framing!

Green Box?? NEVER! lol. I'm getting an 18-55 this week, so hopefully I won't have framing problems. But, there's only so much gear can do for a shot...
