I have a spec on my lens
see it there right in the center over the roof line..

I purchased the Sensorswipe from here http://www.pbase.com/copperhill/image/39082096 , and the PecPads, and the Eclipse cleaner from Adorama. (Got it a little bit cheaper).
Once it get's here, I am going to do my entire sensor; as it really needs to be cleaned.
When I go home, I need to take a photo straight up into the sky with the f-stop set to 22, and see what type of dirt I have on my sensor.

Read about the alternative cleaning method using a brush like Sensor Brush, he found way to clean it without paying $100.00 for a sensor brush, I am definitely going to try it out.
Here is the link to Pixel Sweeper http://www.prime-junta.tk/ . He is from Finland too, lmao.

the sensor swab was 11 bucks, and the cleaning fluid, and swabs are like 12 bucks together...
That's way less than 100 bucks...
check out the link I posted.

had one like that on my 20d ,all i did was set the shutter to fire for 30sec, then took the lens off and used the blower from a blower brush ( Not the brush ) it cleared mine. but dont forget you only have say 20 sec to do it then try again .

Do NOT use this 30s method! Use the Sensor Clean option in the 20D menu. That is what it is there for.
Besides that, using the blower does work very well. But, use a nice big one, like the Giottos Rocket.

Oh, sorry, first you have to click on Pontification on his page, which will take you to the news page and click on Pixel Sweeper article. Should be on top of the latest news.

Echo, those sensor brushes are supposed to work very well. But yes they are ridiculously expensive.
And I recently read what Petterri said on his page about using other brushes and I was very intrigued. Petterri usually knows what he's talking about.
But, then again, the rocket blower has been all I've needed so far. However, I rarely stop down past F5.6.

Agree, I use rocket blower myself but for future reference. I've talked with him thru email, very nice man and knowledgeable.
