I am wondering what the pro's and con's are for each type of printer for on site printing. Baseball tournments, golf events etc. I'll be printing up to 8X10s. I was leaning towards the Canon I9900 but after reading some of the threads I would like to hear your opinions.
Thanks

I use the r800 for 4x6, 5x7, 8x10. Permanate prints, archiveable to 100+ yrs., been pleanty fast enough, and more versatile and alot cheeper than a dye sub.
This is just my opinion, I've been watching these threads for months and was hooked on a dye sub. but the price slowed me down..... I did an event 2 weeks ago with the r800 and had NO problems, and made a killin'.
MY 2 cents.

R800 is an Epson Printer ( the 8.5x11 version of the R1800 which is a replacement for the 2200 ).
