Is this too tight a crop?

I took this thinking it would be a nice capture.. but after bringing it on the computer screen I am wondering whether this is too tight a crop.

What do you think?

Its a nice shot personally i would of either gone further back or got a higher perspective to avoid chopping the photo between the third and fourth pillars.
It just seems to cut the photo.

There again i guees it also gets the viewer thinkign whats on the other side?

I think I would have given it a little more of the sky above as it adds to the photo
