This especially goes to Belmondo who doesn't have any room left on his CC after getting hold of a Canon EF lens catalog ;)
I needed some little parts from Really Right Stuff;
http://www.reallyrightstuff.com/
... and with the shipment came the catalog... :confused:
Trouble!
This "stuff" is reallyreallyGOOD! A very dangerous catalog too,. as it makes great reading on it's own,. (like there website)
Anyway,. now instead of a simple replacement lens foot for one lens,. I have the macro rail, three clamps, the Gitzo leveling base I've allways wanted.. (I'll need the proper tripod some day) .. and who knows whats next! Suddenly telephoto flash brackets look realy nice,. and we have not even begun to look at all those custom plates!

Funny....
I was browsing their website just this afternoon, trying to decide if I want to buy their custom plate for the 500. I decided to stick with my generic plate, but someday after the credit card cools off.....

OK, the link talks about buying a TV, but I think it visually describes what you are going through pretty well.

Info on companies like that should be banned from the forum!

RRS and Wimberley are mean companies. add Kirk to the list too. Somehow after looking through the Wimberley pages I ended up with a F-1 flash bracket and other spare parts for it. The bracket is a thing of beauty. Hey Sheldon, got yours on order yet?:):):):):):):):)
Kirk is another meany. After sending them an email, one of their guys phoned me and asked me what equipment I had and what future plans were re lenses. After 15 minutes, I had the ol Visa card out and a B-1 on order. God I'm so easy.:o:o:o:o

Put it right in my Gear Bookmark Folder. Thanks CDS. Most likely will make the old checking account balance get smaller.

Yeah,. Kirk is about the same level of damagepotential,. but it just happend to be RRS that had an "in".. a replacement Arca compatible "ffot" for the 200mm f/1.8,.. a part that is almost REQUIRED for using the 200mm with any QR system as without,. you could never put the damn lens back in the case.. (long story)
Anyway.. that got there catalog past the area perimeter defenses!
