This is a shot of San Francisco, taken from Alcatraz Island. I'm hoping it looks ok. This is straight from the camera with no PS work applied. If it looks ok, I have many more to bore you with. Thanks for looking.

The picture looks kind of dull, you can always fix that in PS though. I like it especially the bird in the air.

Thanks for the comment. I'm trying again with a few adjustments and a little larger post, but less quality. I hope it's better. I have a severe problem with monitor calibration, so I can't tell for sure what I'm sending out . . . . :(

Love the clouds, they almost look like a tidal wave. That city always has such dynamic weather, great excuse to keep a good camera nearby.

I like the second one with the fog on the water, its a neat effect to capture, I always wanted to do that and the one chance I had to go to SF I never did manage to catch that. Bummer. The first 2 are a little "hazy" looking to me when you look at the city skyline. In the second one I really don't think it matters since it goes well with the other elements in the picture. JMO.
Great job, I'd love to see more!!!

Thanks for your opinions Sue. I have tons more, but probably won't be posting any of them until I resolve my monitor problem. My wife and I spent almost a week there and are still going through all of the shots. It is a great place to visit with your camera. We just happened to luck out with the weather, it was gorgeous all week. Thanks again for taking the time to comment. Once I get my monitor to quit lying to me I'll post some more.

Thanks Ken. I agree, It would have made me sick to be there without my camera. There is so much to see, and the lighting and fog changes drastically all day long. We had a ball there.
