A friend asked me to take some photos for her, so we had a casual day out at the Japanese Tea Garden in SF and also did some shoot at her apartment.
Just these for now, more to be processed.... Hope you guys like it.

I am curious about the setup too. Very well lit photos.
I haven't been able to achieve that look yet. Was it a soft filter?
Thanks

Peter you have excellent memory and yes you are correct.
She was a total stranger I bumped into at a park. She has used the photos I took of her at the park to score a modeling gig doing bridal gowns a while back.
And has come back to asked me to get some more shoot of her.

ElleG83, berto, symes, charlesu (whos work I always admire and try to learn from), stoneylonesome, mills, timmyquest (whose work I follow closely here and also FM :) ), Alan B, DocFrankenstein, jfrancho, KevC, HJMinard,
Setup for indoor shots is very simple, 550EX on Stroboframe Pro-RL bracket with flash bouncing off the ceiling, no diffuser used as I didn't want it refecting off the office type windows.
Flash in on Manual mode full power, f/5.6 and speed 1/100s~1/125s depending on distance to subject. Pretty simple setup actually. Hope this helps. Lens is 24-70mm f/2.8 on 20D.

Ferdinand,
Wow, is all I can say. I absolutely love the first and third shot. The first one makes me think of a make up advert (say Maybelline?) and the the others looked like from a fashion shoot in a women's mag. :) Great work! And gosh, she's soo cute!
