Need some lighting tips

I'm going to be taking pictures for my sisters wedding in July. Of course, she wants to do them in a couple different places, including a place in the trees that doesn't get much sunlight.
Can anyone help me out with a few lighting suggestions? I'm thinking of a flash and softbox combo. Maybe two together, but i'm very new to this kind of thing. Keep in mind that there won't be any power near by.

For Bride and Groom, reflector will work fine. Larger groups an off camera strobe or two. Don't need to nuke them if you've got them in shade - just some light to balance out everything. Beware of light splotches poking through the leaves.
