View Full Version : Poses That I Hate

There are two poses that I see alot that I really don't find attractive for females, 1) the hands around the face and 2) arms held over the face.

For the first one I see how it can be important if you are advertising jewelry or hand lotion. Other than that the pose just seems unnatural, noone does that.

The second is when the model has her arms up over her head. These shots always look to me like the body is contorted in an unnatural position. It also takes away from the body's curves. Maybe I'm just missing something. I know, its all personal taste, but I can't possibly be the only one who thinks this way.

Any poses that you don't like?

Hands over the head is used alot of times to alter minor body imperfections.

Hands over the head doesn't bother me if it's used appropriate - such as a dance pose with the appropriate attire. Hands over or around the face seems like a cliché and it's a pose I very rarely use.

I hate 85% of glamor poses.

1) Hands over the hair

2) Hands pulling down half a bikini

3) Side profile with hands on the hair.

List goes on and on.
