in the last one is that watter coming from the underside of the bridge?

yes the water comin off the bridge is the "nyc waterfalls".. a tourist thing some artist designed... u can see another one in the background on the bottom left. oOO and hello first poster!

nice shots! Love the clouds! Did you use a CPL or was the clouds added?

Nice motion blur on the first one. Did you use a tripod, or did you sit the camera on the railing at Metrazur?

I shot that at ISO 125 @ f9 50mm for 1s. I had the camera sit on the railing. Army guards aren't too friendly with camera on tripods in Grand Central.:rolleyes:

I got lucky that day. The clouds were all natural. All shots are with only a UV filter on the glass. I really need to get a CPL filter. I see what it can do.

You're right. The horizon is a bit off. I used the bridges as my vertical base line. I really should have used the horizon as my horizontal reference line during cropping. Back to the drawing board. Thanks for your comment.

I'm into the same type photography you seem to be into. I might head into the city tomorrow for a few, the snow should make for some really nice images!! Btw, Love the pix, I also checked out the website too. Good Stuff!!

Here's a closeup shot of the "waterfall" under the bridge. What do you all think of the b&w conversion. Not sure if its converted correctly.
