Is there such a thing? A book with a bunch of different poses?

There's also the "Lookbook", it's about US$100 and made to go in your camera bag. It's ok if you're completely out of ideas, but it's nothing amazing. More a quick reference and to give you a few ideas. Probably 100 poses in it.

There are a ton of books out there.
I would also look at others work for ideas. I personally like Jamison's work as he does a great job making all kinds of people look great. It would be awesome is every couple looked like Ken and Barbie, but they don't. He does a great job of making people of all body types look their best.

This "general guide" gives the photographer plenty of options to chose from. Whether it's a solo portrait, sitting, standing or couples shots, the guide gives the photographer options for head, shoulder and hand placements.

I've seen this in person and it would be useful if poses were a concern of mine. Heck, I'll probably buy it anyway :p

I know, there just wasn't a link to it ;)
I actually found it to be quite good. So long as you understand that the poses are done with IDEAL lighting and with beautiful models who know what they're doing - I think it could have been SUPER helpful for me the first year or two of wedding photography :)

Unfortunately, many of the rad pros that used to frequent the forums (who gave me HUGE amounts of inspiration and information when I started) hardly ever post :(
