1D mark 4 Anyone

Hello All

I am curious about the rumor that is floating about the 1D mark 4 or it may be a 1D mark 3N. Which ever it may be I heard that it may be released as soon as March/April of 09.
Like the 5D MKII it will have a full frame,10fps, may be a 21MP?
I read a few threads on the net, but we all know how the net may be like, as well as Some rumors may be true.

Well, there probably won't be anything from Canon soon ~ Canon released the 1DMKIII maybe even a year ahead of time to try and thwart the Nikon rival ~ this has, as we know, backfired alarmingly.

Problem is now, we are in recession, current gear works OK [or you've moved to Nikon already], market is shrinking, Canon has lost some market share and the dynamism has fizzled out.

It's debatable that no matter how stunning a camera Canon launch now, it's reception will be feeble and sales dismal after the usual 24 scramble to get theirs through pre-order.

If I were Canon, I'd release a new firmware for the 1DMKIII ~ ever thought it strange that Canon released the 1DMKIII with a 'joy-stick' yet later added the focus function to it? If I were Canon and had a new 1DMKIV, I'd mothball it and release manufacture to more compacts and add sweeteners like free web space and 11x17" enlargements and run competitions for holiday tours of the factory in Japan.

That said, I'd love to get rid of my curse of a MKIII, I'd trade it in immediately for the MK1V, so I hope I'm wrong in my above post. :)

I reckon that they will come out with the 1d4 in mid/late 09 and it will be epic, whatever it is :p

Probably recession is good for us. Who know maybe Canon will heavily slash their 1D series price to stimulate the economy?
