I still can't get my head around how that possibly could have happened. If I were to win in 1 to 18,000,000 odds I'd hope it'd be for the lottery.

Yet again, another example of why you should always carry a camera with you . . .

I know he had a kid with him, and was probably distracted, but seriously, just glance down and make sure you're good to go BEFORE you sit...same rule applies to toilets, park benches and any form of public transportation...

Good point. Just this week I implemented a new personal rule - to have a camera with me at all times. I bought a factory refurb xti and hid it in the car.

Anybody know where I can find some skiers with their pants down around their ankles?

Don't you just know that when he returns to work somebody will have printed the pic and hung it on the bulletin board? Or worse than that, everybody in the office will have put it on their computers as their background wallpaper. :)

golfecho

I suspect that before any prints are "hung" on the wall, there may be some photo-shopping to the image, to add some . . . ah . . . "detail" to the pictures . . .

Generally, a very true statement. But personally, I do not have the slightest desire to have a photo of a guy hanging upside down bare bottom, so lack of a camera in this case would not have been a loss.

If that was me, I'd be talking to the Vail Marketing department. He could make a few bucks selling "Vail Ski Bum" T-Shirts. ;)

That's what I would call a 'cheeky position'. Odds are he's the nicest guy you would ever meet. Those things just don't happen to those that deserve such things..

I doubt he'll have any ability to sue or take Vail Resorts into litigation. The moment you buy s aksi pass, you relinquish a lot of legal rights. Every year it seems that there is someone who gets hurt on a chairlift, or hits a sign post, or something else far worse... who tries to sue VR. As far as I know, they never get the chance. The liability release attached to the tickets is pretty thorough. It'd need to be though...

I am just wonderfully grateful that my college days/20s were spent in a time when everyone DIDN'T have a camera!

Spring break, clubbing, etc. No images of myself in a comprimising position exist, so I could theoretically run for office and face my parents!

very cold!
However, as a local news caster stated, considering the distance and the angle, that fact there is any... "protrusion" to be scene, gives some credit.
I wont repeat the other comments. ;)

Marty Odom, who, according to the article is the man who shot the picture, has received worldwide exposure and advertising for his photography company. Something a million dollars could not buy. He'll do just fine. ;)
