Using a computer as storage?

Hi people,

I was wondering how i might go baout taking pictures from my powershot s70 straight to my computers hard drive.

I have a Apple powerbook, but if someone knows how to do it on a PC that would be good to now as well!

I'd like to set up a Time Lapse shot and need all the space i can get, as my computer has about 50gb of space at the moment i'd like to use that!

Remote Capture software came with the camera. It is in the Camera Window - Cano Utilities on the start Menu once you install the software. I have meesed with it a bit.

thanks for your advice, but they (canon) haven''t updated their software and it doesn't seem to recognise my camera!!!!

What a pain!

any other ideas anyone?

I have an S70 and it works fine. Sorry to hear yours is not working.

your right, i was at work and downloaded some old version, and installed it just before my last post!

I just dug out the s70 box and installed the software i got with the camera and it all works great!!!
You have to use it through the image browser software, for anyone that might want to know ;)

Man i feel stupid!! Oh well i'm gonna go off and have some time lapse fun.
