Looks like we are back onto the old rumour rollercoaster of the next new body ... :D

It's old, that was predicted to be the 5D mark II originally.

The rumor rollercoaster will continue on, generally it goes entry-level series to advanced/pro series and refreshes every 1-4 years with a leap in tech that's worth buying into.

Wow, that article is dated back to October 2007. I think that so called 7D is what we call the 5D MK2 now :cool:

probably there is enough market for a 7D ... something like 15M FF, to position between the 50D and the 5D mark2. I expect that the 50D will become significantly cheaper, and that leaves a huge gap around usd1500.

For me (as a 40D user) usd2.5k is a bit too much, and i do not care for a 50D, the old 5D price range is ideal, so ... here comes the 7D !

As the others have already said, check the date that the article was written. This is very old speculation.
