1000 1080p images per second? How fast would the card fill up?

I don't see 100fps@1080p written anywhere there -> looks like regular movies are at 720p and high-speed movies aren't.

The specs are interesting, but all of this was on the Casio Exilim-F1 a while ago. It does 1200fps at 336 x 96 pixels, and it's still $1000 on Amazon, so I wouldn't put my money on this mid-range P&S surpassing the F1 in resolution.

Still, it's great to see new usable features making it onto cameras people can actually afford. I looked into getting a high-speed camera for a variety of reasons about two years ago, and the options weren't exactly wallet-friendly.

As the page says:

The EX-FC100 will retail for $400

and

EX-FS10 will run you $350

So, anticipate something around there.
