Did I Take My Processing Too Far? C&C Please!

Hey guys,

I would just like to know if this processing works for this shot. Personally I think it does, but I don't know how I feel about the floating head. I didn't know how to process this and have his neck still partially show.

I like the processing technique ok for this photo, but...im not too crazy about the floating head. Have you tried maybe using layers to paint the neck back in some. Maybe use a low opacity so it just shows a bit of detail?

I did try that, but with his beanie and face. He is wearing dark color clothes and a part of the beanie wraps around his neck so you can't see it anyways and the dark colors of the part that wraps blends into the black anyways and makes it very hard to see. I will try again though maybe not taking the processing so far in that portion of the picture.

I agree. I wonder if you cropped it tighter?

Ah...I didn't think of that..I can crop out the bottom portion so it won't be visible.
