Trying manual settings out my window (slighty dirty) today. Caught this guy at the feeder, I was surprized to see what feet it has. Not long legged but huge spread out. No wonder they can climb so good.
1/320, F/5.6, ISO100, 300mm/ at around 20feet, processed in PS-CS, croped & resized,

Aw man I was thinking sawsquach! LOL. great capture. can see why they are called big foot.

Great shots of the nuthatch, folks. Very nice. :)

I guess it's the long claws(?) that make them look like they have big feet, eh? Especially the ones on the rear toes which they use for hanging upside down and creeping down a tree trunk. :D
