Hi all,
I have created this thread for the convenience of members of the POTNAC to simply keep track of this Photography related Meeting that a few of us have talked about the the Aussie Club thread.

I would like to gauge general interest and if we have critical mass then what dates suit everyone etc.

And just to set the mood here are a couple of photos of the woodfired pizza oven :)

Grand opening,( even though it isnt quite finished) is this saturday for my B'Day. But i was thinking of the get together in a few weeks if i get enough interest and we can agree on a time.
So, as discussed this will be a Group photography meeting with a some time dedicated to eating pizza. then maybe some fire photos ;) ;)

the saturday of the australia day long weekend is the 24th January, my only concern is people might be away on holidays but im fine with that day. how does that suit others?

Never mind Phil, im sure we'll do it again. Its really hard to organise these things, eveyone lives busy lives!

For everyone else: I will be having a get together and firing up the oven this Saturday at my place in Padstow (near bankstown). everyone is welcome to come. so far i only have 1 confirmed guest and that is clarry.
I really hope at least a couple of others can make it so it doesnt get awkward and we are all like,....*awkward silence* so umm, the 5D is pretty cool huh... yeeaahhh its pretty good, uh huh. *awkward silence* LOL

So, since Clarence is being a b!@tch ;) and wont tell me what time hes coming ill say tentatively 4pm. No need to bring anything, ill have it sorted.
If anyone else want to come then you're more than welcome.

IMPORTANT: Remember to bring your cameras, as there will be technical discussion about photography. then a tutorial plus practical covering the intricacies of taking photos of fire!
No one in the immediate area of Padstow is running such an in-depth course like this so you would be crazy to miss out!

wish i could come but my mate whose 18th im going to in the evening is deciding to do a 3pm movie before we all go out. so wont be able to make it.
