Sure is, one of the ones that used to belong to Bloomfield Farmers Market (feed and grain store) no longer in business.

I like anything to do with or near anyplace that a train runs or has run in the past . . . so this is nice. We need to save them via our cameras so as to not loose them for all time.

You're right, Sandy, it's very interesting. If only walls could talk.

Thought I'd post a few more from track side. the sidings for the most part are gone the Main line is still an active short line, run by the CNEZ RR, hauls frieght to a huge Home Depot Warehouse.

Would like to think that the owner of the short-line would buy these and restore them.

And the last one, taken form the same spot as the one above, Boy do I like my Sigma 18-125mm lens.

It sure is, The Engines (yard) is at the very end in Windsor out near RTE 187/RTE189 He also has the rights to the RR line on the other side of the CT River up to Enfield. so the trains are over there also, but every evening he heads back to Windsor.

I like the additional shots! The parked box car . . . all of it. There is just something about RR things and places that touches me in a different way, a reverence for somethings past.
