Aside from Tai O in Hong Kong, this was my favorite location of the entire trip. I really wish I had more time to explore Cambodia more. People here were mostly friendly, there were lots of scooters but not nearly as many as in Vietnam. Quite a bit of nagging about taking 'tuk-tuks' everyhwere but eventually you ignore it or I got to the point of yelling 'no tuk-tuk' before being asked by an entire group. The trick is definitely to avoid eye contact with anyone standing in front of their shops, even if you glance at them for a split second they WILL notice even if they're not even looking at you. haha. Angkor Wat was sort of a tourist trap, the only time no one was there was the second day we went to check out a sunrise and got there before 5am but that was short lived as droves showed up minutes later, the best part of that was walking through the place in complete darkness, the negative of it was forgetting that I also had my polarizer on my lens from the previous day and not realizing it until the sun was up...oops! Ta Prohm was my favorite of all the temples by far, I just wish I had gone at a different time as it seemed like I was shooting into the sun for every shot. Visiting an orphanage and driving around outside the town to explore on an atv was another highlight...totally got to see much more that way, I wanted to stop every 2 seconds and take photos and could have didn't because I knew it would be every 2 seconds, hahah.

Did I mention that I hate the 8 image per post limit? haha, mostly of the fact that it applies even to small images.

Another nice series. I think I like the colors and the reflection in the first shot the most.

I wouldn't change a thing on #5. I like the sense of space and transition from the left to the right.

Would love to see the panorama version of #3.

Lovely shots, my biggest regret when visiting Vietnam last year was not spending a few days across the border. Glad you find Tai O a great place to shoot as I found the area a rich source for interesting people and street shots.

Yeah, I really wanted to go back to Tai O early one morning but towards the end of my trip I started getting burnt out.

I love #1, #4, the right side of #5 (it looks like to images stuck together, and the people shots are great. Some of the other HDRs look overprocessed for me.

#1 perhaps needs a slight straightening of the horizon.
