Is there anyway I can see what the battery level is like on my camera? All I get now is a low batt warning....its normally a bit late by then.
Also where can one find any indication of how much space is left on the CF card from the Camera?
Thankz

xolstis,
I own a Powershot A40 and the information you talk about can normally be found by pressing the menu button. Is the menu detailed or basic, I usually have to press the forward and backward buttons to navigate the menu to find the information I need. The figures provided are only an estimate of how much space you have remaining on your CF card. On my camera and I think on others it just says how many pictures you can take with the size of card you have in the camera. This also depends on the resolution and compression levels you are using. Yes, the battery indicator is very basic on these cameras, same with the A40.
