hello all I just joined this site , its the first site of its kind that I have joined , I have been taking pics for the last 7 months so am really new at this , while my equipment is not really as professional as what ive seen on here so far I feel its a good start to doing somthing I'm having such an amazing time with , but i,m having an awful time figuring out how to post images can anybody out there be kind enough to help

click on "go advanced"
then in the box that opens up you will see a little icon that has a mountain and a yellow sky. click on that and put in the URL to your image ie http://server/myimage.jpg

you can sign up somewhere and upload your images. i run my own server so i don't have that problem and I'm not familiar with any "good" image hosting sites.

anyone?

Michael how did you get the image to appear i can get the url but not the image and also what do you think of it

canon S1 Is with the tele lens attachment gives me I think 16x optical zoom

You may wish to re-size that one... generally we use 800 as a max resolution for any one side.

Regardless . . . it looks to be a very nice capture of a Jay.
