I have one of two pics that I really really like, but upon processing them, the subject (a flower) is too close the the top of the frame.....

Is there a way, especially since this has a nice even black backround, to expand the frame, so the subject is not right at the edge of the frame?
Thanks

easy fix in photoshop from the pull down menus
1 image - canvas size - then add your new pixels to increase the image size, in your case I would probally add the new pixels by adding black in the canvas extension color
2 working in your new pixels area, I would probably use the clone tool and work the colors to match the current edge with the new pixels
