I just bought a used SD100 on Ebay. In dark settings, the camera will not take a picture until the flash is ready (that's fine with me). The problem is that it takes from 5 - 10 seconds (if I'm lucky) of holding down the shutter button for the flash to fire. This even happens when the battery is freshly charged- towards the end of the battery, it may not take a picture at all. Any suggestions? Do you think Canon could help me out- I'm not the original owner not do I have a receipt / purchase date. Please Help.
