out looking around today, saw some really big cows next to this really old house, the bigger ones were a little further away :lol: heavy backlighting here really added strong contrast ,,

Thanks for the comments everybody, yes there is alot of contrast on these, there was alot of backlighting so I ran these shots through Topaz filter to bring out some definition then converted to B&W, Thanks again for commenting :cool:

oh by the way I think the high contrast works well here. I try to PP my b&w to get the same result. It's a really cool shot and did the cow just stand there and look at you? Did you try to get any closer?

The cow actually did come right up to me, there must be people that come feed them regularly and they must have thought I was there to feed them, they all were very casual in my being there, there were some BIG ones there too, big bulls, no horns but some did look like they did still have all the necessary equiptment for reproduction if ya know what I mean :lol: I thought big bulls would be aggressive :eek: I know some are :cool: Thanks for commenting
