Yup it's the largest moon for this year but how should I shoot it? I'd like to hear some pointers.

had no luck last night with this moon :(
We had really thick clouds and rain, so I missed out.

The moon was beautiful last night! I got distracted with photographing other subjects, but I did manage to take a few snaps of it.
I shot these with my 70-200 (@200mm) and my newly acquired 10-22 (@10mm) last night. I put them side by side for fun. :p
200mm @ f/11, ISO 100, 1/250.
10mm @ f/10, ISO 100 1/125 (loving this lens :D )
