Bees and Flowers

hopefully this will work. thanks for all the help in posting these pics. these were taken with a Canon EOS D60 with a 35-80 lens with a macro lens kit.

It doesn't look like the exposure was set to capture the bee. The flowers appear blown out and the bee is too dark.

Not a bad close up for the lens you used; maybe you could get even closer though?

thanks for the reply. i will take your advice on the settings. This particular bee, buzzed me right after the shot, he wasnt particularly happy with the way it came out either. here is a couple more of flowers. let me know what you think.
