View Full Version : Sigma 500&D60 fires every other shot

As the topic states I have a D60 and Sigma 500 super DG super. When I use the flash on the caera it only fires every other time I press the shutter. I have allowed plenty of time for the flash to recycle. The camera is in P and the flash is in ETTL. please let me know if you have any insight in to this, thank you

You might want to make sure that Mirror Lockup is not enabled.

mirroe lock up is not on I take one picture and it is exposed then I take the next one and it is all black, so the camera has metered for the flash but it did not fire. Again I gave plenty of time for the flash to recycle.

This is very odd indeed. Even if it was in mirror lockup, the first press would click the mirror up, the pre-flash would pop, then the second click would trip the shutter and the flash.
