A really good friend of Liz and I's was in town for the holidays and we had the wonderful chance to spend some time with Alicia and Jack. Unfortunately, Jack's father had to head home early. Little Jack had been in the hospital just a week before this for RSV, a lung infection that many toddlers get every year, but in this case...it was a bit more extreme. Jack is awesome...only a few days after kicking the RSV thing...he was running around the park with Liz, myself, and Alicia. Here are some of the photo's from the day.

The first image is the shot of how he reacted to me...Then he remembered I was the guy that came and visited them in July when he was in Colorado with his family.

Please provide feedback if you would like. I always appreciate it. Thanks, all.

What a handsome young man...

The face on the Rocking Frog is priceless. It and the one with the mittfull of leaves are top shelf. Nice use of backlighting (however it's a bit extreme in the one shot through bars...)

Everything I shot here was with a Canon 135L and my 1DsmkII I believe.

ISO somewhere in the 400 - 500 range. Apertures in the 3.5 to 5.6 range

Shutter speeds somewhere around 1/250 or faster hopefully to stop his motion.

The sun was setting and we were running out of light quick so that was the reason for the higher ISO.

Thanks for the comments. I agree about the shot through the bars.

Thanks!
