Any recent rumors out there with Sigma? Stabilization on their lenses, more HSM's. Maybe a 85mm F1.4 prime?

Anything.

I heard they were going to stop making lenses for Nikon because of the d700. Just Kidding. The 24-70 HSM was the only news I have heard from them in a little bit. Although I did just find out that they make a 20mm f/1.8 for 400 bucks.

lol. I've had the 20mm before, can't say more about it, awesome. I'm absolutely a Sigma fan, the EX DG's. I'm just hoping for some more HSM lenses.

I have only owned 2 Sigma lenses at this point. I have the 150mm macro and the 10-20mm. The macro has me hooked. I do not think I would buy anything other than an ex grade lens. For the price you can not beat the build quality and the optics. However they could up their QC a little bit.

So true, I have had no problems with QC on any of them, all perfect. I just sold my 150mm, 20mm, and 100-300 F4, very happy with them. Moving to the darkside so going to replace them. Just bought the 50mm F1.4 EX DG.

Well... They recently announced the 18-250 with image stabilization, they call it Optical Stabilizer instead of IS.

I wouldn't buy such a compact and wide range zoom, but it's interesting to see a sigma product with some form of IS. If it performs well, and they adapt it to their 70-200 f/2.8 lenses and similar, it could get really interesting in terms of competition to some of canons heavily priced L zooms. (For the budget minded)

Fingers crossed. :)

They already have the 120-400 and 150-500 with Optical Stabilizer.

Oh right, I've not seen that. Even so - I hope they come to their senses and whack it on their 70-200's. :)

^ Agreed, the time has come for their most popular tele to be stabilized.

Yeah...they have a few OS lenses out. Nothing new. But yeah...they do need something on that 70-200.

I wonder if it's worth selling my 18-200 OS for the 18-250 OS. Is only the range extended or is image quality improved as well?

Probably not right away. The new lens will be at a premium (most lenses are when first released) and your current one will probably lose a bit of value due to the new one coming out.

I'd love to see a resurrection of the 400 f/5.6 with OS!

I'd wager a large market is there given Nikon offers no VR primes in that price/length/speed market, and Canon lacks IS in theirs!

Other than that, Upgraded 105 macro with OS would be cool, or even better, doing it to the 150 or 180....Imagine, a 180mm OS Macro...

85 1.4 EX HSM would be nice too.

Agreed ... and it's an obvious gap between the 300mm and 500mm primes they already produce.

They could do worse than add OS to the 300 2.8 and 500 f4.5 primes.

I would love to see Sigma upgrade the 120-300mm f/2.8 to "OS".

Oh heck yes :D

What about a 100-400 f/4 EX OS HSM?
