WOW :D
I just realized that I have most likely been spending way too much time on the forum in the last 2 years since I got my G2 ...
but I think it was worth it (to me at least).
To Canon, definitely
Pekka and all that help keeping this forum online,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR PROVIDING AN OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO ALL UF US !!!
Now, I sincerely hope that some of my posts were helpful, educating or at least funny for others to read.
Best regards,
Andy
PS: I also realized that I posted way too few pictures for that long time :o

Hehe and I am closing in on 2000 after just one year and a few days
Before I found this forum much of my forum time was actually spent either on my own website or on www.phpbb.com. Now POTN is the first site I check in the morning and last before going to bed  I am even more on POTN than on my own website

And here I am just past 100.......someday I hope that I will be able to contribute to the forum something close to what I have taken from the forum.

Andy, my good frieind,
You've figured it out. Posting pictures takes too much time. All you have to do is find every new photo posted, and say something like, "Nice shot, Good capture, or Well done." Your post count will skyrocket almost overnight.

Congratulations!!!
I am waiting for your song............I think you need to compose a song for every 1000 posts!!!

Well, it was clear that Belmondo would figure me out
However, I beg to differ. Quite often, I also praise the lighting.

The longer you go at this, the less important the numbers become. I see I just rolled past 6,000 posts, and I didn't even notice until now.

6000 - E-Gad! Actually it has been three days since I changed my ID to this one and I am already at 115 posts. I have been here for a week and with the first poorly named ID and this one I have post almost 200 posts in a week. Granted its freezing out side but 200 posts in a week? Good grief and at this rate I'll have a thousand in a few weeks!

I find quoting other peoples posts is a really good way to boost your numbers

Should probably draw the line at quoting yourself though

Oooops.... didn't take long (to 5,000 posts) :o
So that was 2,000 posts now in 3.5 months after 2 years for the first 3,000 ... maybe I'll cut it back a little
Best regards,
Andy

I feel so inadequate with such a low post count. But I try not to go the "ditto" route to run up my count. If I don't have something to contribute I don't post. I'm always here reading though.
Where do you guys/gals find the time to post so much and still take photos?

I post a bit at work, I have numerous times during the day i'm waiting for my PC so I browse this site. Sometimes great information comes from people with low post counts, because they're busy doing and learning instead of talking about it.

Yeah ... that's part of it.
You can browse the forum a bit when you have a second or two to wait at work.
If I grabbed my camera and went out to take some shots, my boss might not like it so much
Best regards,
Andy
