Here are some pics I took of my niece. She is a senior this year and had her prof.pics done but wanted me to take some. These are not edited at all. Just wanted to see how I could improve.

I realize in the second one that weeds from the ground and covering her hand and she has a little dirt on her hands from sitting down.

The skin looks a bit cool and I would clone out some of the skin blemishes and crop a little tighter. Here's my quick edit.

Thank you, tienm 23, what program did you use to edit? The pic looks a ton better.

I use photoshop but it is rather expensive. Google GIMP or Paint.net, they have most of the functionality that PS has for free.

This is my go at it. I love vibrant colors and foliage so i boosted it up some. I agree with the above poster, the pics have a cool cast to them.

I have photoshop CS2 and paint shop pro x2, and i use paint shop pro over photoshop. It has almost everything that photoshop has, and it has a few things that photoshop does not. Its WAY cheaper.

I like your edit christy, her eyes were very dark and it looks much better with them lightened up!
Love the pictures!
