cute kid and dad, your shutter seems awfully slow, bump your ISO for a faster shutter and sharper images.

the EXIF is off - thats because its reading info from the frame I use.
everything was shot above 1/250 F/8.0 @ ISO 100. here is #2's EXIF data from RAW:

i used a big softbox to soften the light and applied very little unsharp mask on them :D

Did you have to crop out a little bit of the frame? Usually the shutter goes from either vignetting one edge of the frame to blackening part of the frame once the SS is above 1/250th. I've found 1/400th is still quite usable with some cropping. This presumes a CMOS sensor, not a CCD as they have shown a little bit more tolerance for the higher SS.
Or on the other hand... were you using some kind of High speed sync on the flash? You can pick your poison with that setup.

I was using high speed sync. there was no cropping involved. i just aimed and fired away :lol:
