Camera Numbering

Hello and Happy Friday. I need some help on the Digital Rebels 300d numbering system. I am taking some Photos tomorrow with about 40 kids and an Easter Bunny. as I take the shots I would like to write down the number assigned to the photo and the kids name. My question is: Is there a way to easily retrieve the photo number of the picture that you had just taken? I dont see on the review of the picture that number comes up, it does when you go back and review the photos, that may be my only hope. Any suggestion much appreciated.

If you press the review button you'll get the last picture taken. Then press the info button and you'll get a histogram and photo info including number.:)
