I thought I'd make a new post not to steal dphotomania's thread by asking my question on it. I read through all the replies, but my situation is slightly different.

If I were to go to a summer camp to take photos of kids, and the school that is hosting this camp wants to buy some from me, how do I go about doing that? I can't get a model release form from hundreds of kids (ages 11-17 probably) and if I'm shooting a huge crowd photo, there would be many people in it.

I believe when the kids sign up for this camp, there is a statement about any and all photographs taken may be used in any form or manor without their consent, but will have to double check on that.

Also, if the one of the older kids would be interested in buying a photo from me, would I have them write their email, send them a small image with a copyright over it for viewing, and if they decide to buy it, then give them my address to send the check BEFORE sending the photo?

I'm clueless on how to do these things. :p Thanks!

I think that would be important. You want to get that confirmed.

Then, you would need to be able to get copies of the registration signed by the parents. I don't think you will absolutely need to have all of them, but you need to be sure that they are available to you, should a problem arise. If you trust the camp management to have all of that complete and safely on file, then that is sort of good enough.
