Well wednesday was the delivery date fot my 50 1.8 and my 24-70L I ordered it sunday night from B&H. I was so excited i could hardly wait. I sat home all day waiting on the ups truck knowing it would be here between 3 and 5 pm. I drive a truck back and forth to NJ and had to leave at 6pm so at 4:30 i got into the shower and when i got out i went to the door and found UPS InfoNotice for a redelivery on thursday well i jumped in my car and went looking for the ups truck after about 30 min of no luck i called ups and had them locate the truck and find out where it was they located it call the driver had him wait on me and bingo i got my Lense. So B&H and UPS is #1 in my book. My wife said i was crazy chasing the ups truck. Photo taken with 28-90mm (which will be retiring)

Another excellent argument against showering.
Congrats on the new hardware.

When you chased down the UPS truck, were you still in your shower suit?

I mean, if I were a UPS driver heading down the street, and if I looked in the rearview mirror and saw a man dressed in his shower suit chasing my truck, I believe that I would speed up.

Funny thread . . . and I think the UPS/Fedx man waits until you are disposed to deliver. One of the evil joys of being a man of such importance to others. Also if he knows what B&H is, he most likely re-routes to bring you yours dead last. Make you sweat thus needing the shower gear noted above . . .
Nice stuff.

You can leave a note on the door with your signature telling them that it's ok to leave it in a certain spot. They just leave boxes on my porch now! my signature is on file with them, and i' haven't ever had a problem!

You guys are crazy... but my hubby chased down his order from B&H last Wednesday himself. Luckily I was at work and didn't have to witness his temporary loss of dignity..........
