Night shot HDR

I'm assuming the color cast is due to a nearby street light?

Nothing about this image says, "taken at night". I guess my point is, when I have done night photography it is usually done to be obvious. What was the reason for shooting this at night?

You're absolutely right about color cast, the reason I took this shot is because it was a very dark spot and I just wanted to see what it would look like if I made it into an HDR. I'll post the original picture of this if any one curious to see how much detail was revealed.
As far as reason for doing it at night, there isn't one, just never saw this in the daytime, sorry if headline was missleading.

I think the headline looks cool. It made me look to find the night time in it. Very creative I must say.
